Il corso si pone come obiettivo la conoscenza approfondita delle piattaforme Cisco Nexus 5000 e 2000.
Particolare attenzione viene inoltre rivolta all'architettura del sistema operativo NX-OS e agli aspetti di datacenter design e implementazione dei Fabric Extenders.

Obiettivi del Corso

Upon completing this course, the learner will be able to meet these overall objectives:
- Identify which products make up the Cisco Nexus 5000 product range, the system architecture, and the Cisco NX-OS software features running on the Cisco Nexus 5000 switch.
- Configure the network features on the Cisco Nexus 5000 switch
- Configure the system management features on the Cisco Nexus 5000 switch.
- Identify the different components of the Fibre Channel protocol, the Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol, the Data Center Bridging Enhancements and how to configure Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) on the Cisco Nexus 5000 switch.
- Configure the Cisco Nexus 5000 switch to support the Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol o Identify the troubleshooting process on the Cisco Nexus 5000 switch, and how to troubleshoot issues relating to the network and the SAN.

- A good understanding of the Fibre Channel protocol and the SAN environment.

Recommended training includes:
- Attendance of a Fibre Channel Protocol class or equivalent experience.
- Attendance of the Implementing Cisco Storage Network Solutions (ICSNS) class or equivalent experience.
