Descrizione del Corso

Obiettivo principale del corso e' acquisire la terminologia e pratica necessarie ad installare e configurare lo switch Nexus 1000V in ambiente virtuale VMware Vsphere.
Il corso si compone di una parte teorica di overview sull'architettura VMware Vsphere e sui componenti dello switch virtuale Nexus 1000V e di una parte pratica di installazione e configurazione dello switch su un datacenter di test.

Obiettivi del Corso

Upon completing this course, the learner will be able to meet these overall objectives:
- Position the VMware networking solution.
- Position the Cisco Nexus 1000v switch in the VMware infrastructure, install the Virtual Supervisor and Virtual Ethernet Modules, and establish an SVS connection to the vCenter Server.
- Identify which management features should be implemented on the Cisco Nexus 1000v and how to configure the features selected.
- Identify which tools can be used when troubleshooting the Cisco Nexus 1000v and how to troubleshoot key features.
- Identify how to use and configure the Virtual Service Blades for the Cisco Nexus 1000v switch.
