IPv6 Telephony by Europa Networking
The IPv6 Telephony class introduces convergence of data and voice traffic over IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
The class helps technicians to face the most common challenges of the small and medium size enterprise networks, such as QoS, IPv4 communication and the new IPv6.
Voice networks require a diversified technical knowledge to implement Voice over IP, which can be possible by the deployment of smart and cheap systems such as Cisco Call Manager Express (IOS based). The CCME, together with Cisco routers, can be inserted inside new or existing networks to facilitate enterprise communications thanks to IP Telephony and SoftPhone, very diffused at the moment. It is possible to reduce the cost of inter-site communication by taking advantage of the Internet connection.

IPv4 review and IPv6 introduction and configuration DHCP v4 and v6
(IPv6 Tunnels and adv. features)
IPv4 and IPv6 convergence and migration
PSTN, ISDN and Frame Relay
LAN, MAN and WAN
Basic QoS
Call Manager Express configuration for IPv4 and IPv6

Prerequisites
The completion of CCNA1,2,3,4 or an equivalent CCNA certification is strongly reccomended

Delivery methods
The "IPv6 Telephony" by Europa Networking class has a duration of 24 hours in presence.
Lessons comprise both theory and practical aspects and include:
• Live instructors' presentations at our facilities or based on BDL (Blended Distance Learning),
• Exercises and e-learning at Europa Networking site
• Hands-on experience: exercises, case studies and troubleshooting on our lab equipments.

 Remote labs

Remote Lab (remote access to our lab equipments): Participants access our labs on the internet by entering their logins and passwords find challenging learning activities that include custom exercises and suggestions for study specially made by our instructors

 Facilities
In presence lessons are held in our facilities in Milano and Bergamo

Admission requirements: candidates should have completed CCNA 1-4 courses , or the equivalents. CCNA certification is also desirable; however, it is not a prerequisite .
